Riverbend Campground is located on the Sheep River near Okotoks, Alberta, a short drive from Calgary. It is in the heart of Alberta's ranch land, with a spectacular view of the Rocky Mountains.  Directions from Calgary: South 20 kms from Calgary city limits on Hwy #2. Watch for the sign, then turn right (west) 2.9 kms on paved road (370 Ave.) Approaching from South Western Alberta on Hwy #2: Continue 17.7 kms north from High River overpass. Cross over Sheep River and take 1st left at the top of the hill. 2.9 kms West (left) on paved road (370 Ave.) The entrance is just past the ball diamonds on the left (south) side of the road. We are down the hill, not at the house. From Okotoks: 1 km East following Elizabeth/ N. Railway St. and up the hill. |
